Kiss will “live on” as digital rock stars after playing their final farewell show in New York this weekend, the band said.

Kiss unveiled digital avatars that can continue to perform long after the band quits performing. The avatars were unveiled during Kiss' farewell show at Madison Square Garden over the weekend.

It’s the end of the road for Kiss. But it’s not the end of Kiss. The hard-rocking quartet from New York City played final live concerts Friday and Saturday at Madison Square Garden, culminating a half century of rocking and rolling all night and partying every day.

At the end of their last concert, KISS debuted their huge digital avatars, which were flying on demon wings, breathing fire and shooting lightning bolts from their fingers.
