Memorial Day events planned in southeast Iowa, west-central Illinois Ceremonies throughout area honor fallen comrades, loved ones. The Burlington Area Veterans Council will sponsor a Memorial Day ceremony Monday. The service at 10 a.m. at Burlingtons Memorial Auditorium will honor the nations fallen heroes and recognize veterans and active-duty military.
