ANGELES CITY, Pampanga - Residents here can now pay real property tax (RPT) in the comfort of their own homes as the city government will implement the online payment system effective on Monday. The initiative is part of the city government's program to improve ease of doing business. "With the help of our online system, we could lessen the people's movement from place to place," City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said in an official social media account post on Sunday. Lazatin's chief adviser Irish Calaguas, who supervised stages of the online payment, said payment can be made using the sitewww.cityofangeles.ph. "A taxpayer can even use a mobile phone to pay their taxes," she said. Calaguas herself successfully paid her real property tax through the online payment system using her mobile phone and Gcash account. The step-by-step walk-in procedures on how to access the system was posted on the official Facebook page of City Information Office Angeles City. C
