We start this morning with dangerous conditions brought on by now posttropical cyclone lee. The storm is still maintaining those hurricaneforce winds, and so far warnings remain in place as lee begins to whip the new england coast, bringing heavy rainfall through cape cod and all the way through maine. Though its not expected to reach the u. S. , the outer bands are expected to pack strong winds up to 80 miles an hour and could bring flooding throughout the new england coast. Maine has declared a state of emergency, and authorities are warning people to stay inside and prepare to hunker down for the storm. Many states are warning people to state out of the water this morning because of Dangerous Rip Currents that could drag people out to see. Lets go to Allison Chincar in the weather center.
