Workers at Boone Starbucks vote to unionize
Employees at a Starbucks in Boone recently voted to unionize. In early April, employees sent a letter to company officials declaring their intent to organize. It laid out their concerns and demands. They said they want to be seen as “partners” and asked for higher pay and access to more comprehensive healthcare coverage.
