Tesla reigns supreme with the NACS as Volkswagen is now adopting the universal charger. More and more automotive companies are bending to the universal charging port for EVs, with Volkswagen recently announcing that it is adopting the Tesla NACS for its clean energy cars.
Toyota and Lexus may soon access 12,000 Superchargers by 2025. After holding out in adopting the renowned electric vehicle charging standard, Toyota and Lexus now cave to it and announced their coming integration of the Tesla NACS.
BMW, Mini, and Rolls-Royce are the latest to adopt Tesla's NACS. Three car brands, spearheaded by parent company BMW, are joining in adopting the charging standard best known as the Tesla NACS.
Tesla NACS is proving to be the more popular choice, with Hyundai's group joining it. Another company leaves CCS in favor of the Tesla NACS, with Hyundai Motor North America, Kia America, and Genesis Motor North America soon adopting the chargers.
Honda has announced pivotal agreements with EVgo and Electrify America, providing Honda and Acura EV customers access to many of the largest charging networks in North America.
