Child killed, others injured in Lamb County SUV rollover crash
A 2-year-old child from the town of Sudan was killed while several other people were injured in an SUV rollover crash Friday evening in Lamb County.
The crash was reported about 7:06 p.m. on U.S. Highway 385 one mile north of the Lamb/Hockley County line, according to an initial report from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Investigators believe 23-year-old Esteban Villareal was driving a 2004 Lincoln Navigator north on U.S. 385 when, for unknown reasons, the driver drove onto the right-hand improved shoulder and began to side skid, rolling multiple times.
