The world of competitive snowboarding may be unfamiliar to most Penn Staters, but for junior Kaiya Kizuka, it’s something she has been involved with for most of her life. The Czech Republic’s Ester Ledecká finished seventh in the Alpine Ski World Cup in Val dIsere on Saturday. The 2018 Super G gold medallist said she was pleased with the result. “I placed one ranking lower than in Friday’s race, but its still in the top ten, so that’s great.
