Lewis and Clark Community College is inviting volunteers to help pull up tulips at the Godfrey campus 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 3, and Tuesday, May 4. Participants may take home the bulbs if they wish; bulbs not removed by volunteers will be placed outside the greenhouse.
GODFREY Home gardeners are being offered free tulip bulbs by Lewis and Clark Community College.
The school is preparing to plant its summer garden show on the college’s Godfrey Campus. To make way for the annual plantings, spring tulips need to be pulled from the beds.
