Good morning and welcome to another Monday on Morning Brew. Today at 10.10 Robbie McRobbie will be with us, for a quarantine special, after his pilgrimage to sunny Scotland. At 10.40 our New York correspondent Tracy Quan will talk about Ivana Trump, who died a few days ago. Tracy says her story “touches a few poignant notes for us”. At 12.10 we’ll find out about Opera Sull’aria, that is aerial opera, and it means just that. Hong Kong born coloratura soprano Etta Fung joins us to talk about her creation which involves singing while performing acrobatics on ‘aerial silks’. Etta has a very fully diary these days as a professional singer, including a big date upcoming with Edmonton Opera in Canada, and her main mission is to try to bring classical music to people in all sorts of (very) different ways.
