The third annual Terp Float Festival is set to return to the banks of the Illinois River Aug. 3-5, with good tunes and vibes.

"There is a lack of connection between what I would call an older music scene and what is currently happening. Theres just a major disconnect," local musician Amanda Rey says.

The hills might be chilly, but music will warm the historic rooms of the Basin Park Hotel Jan. 19-22 as the annual Ozark Mountain Music Festival returns to Eureka Springs for four days of fun.

John Fulbright and his band are sharing their "Social Skills" across the nation, including a stop at Georges Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville at 8 p.m. Oct. 26. The show is a return to Northwest Arkansas for Fulbright and his band -- Jesse Aycock, Aaron Boehler, Paul Wilkes, Stephen Lee and Paddy Ryan.
