Zach LeDay and Vladimir Lucic have each posted great performances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs series between their respective teams, AX Armani Exchange Milan and FC Bayern Munich. Going into a winner-take-all Game 5 on Tuesday to reach the Final Four, they are poised to play key roles again, just as they have been doing for most of the season.
Lucic has led Bayern to historic heights in the competition in what is the best season of his career, while LeDay has been among Milan s most consistent performers as the team aims for its first Final Four this century.

Former champ Sofoklis Schortsanitis sits down with Joe Arlauckas
Greek center Sofoklis Schortsanitis enjoyed a storied Turkish Airlines EuroLeague career, during which he played for four clubs over 10 seasons. In this episode of The Crossover, Joe Arlauckas talks with Big Sofo about all of it, starting with his birth in Cameroon to life after retirement.
The big man did not dream of a basketball career as a boy. Schortsanitis s younger brother Alexandros was the first in the family to take up basketball and even that didn t motivate Sofoklis to pick up a ball until later.
How Luka Doncic is Evolving as the Leader of the Mavs Jan 18, 2021 Isaac Harris
It was a somber day in early December when the table was set to say goodbye to a legend. It would be J.J. Barea’s final day as a player for the Dallas Mavericks.
Donnie Nelson spoke to the media and offered his bittersweet remarks about Barea’s career. J.J. took questions as it was an emotional day for everyone. In Rick Carlisle’s interview, I wanted to ask him one question.
Obviously, the day was all about Barea’s success story and career in Dallas. But at the same time, I also wondered about the young Mavericks team Barea was departing in the middle of training camp. A team that is made up of 15 players under the age of 30. With Barea’s departure, it left just James Johnson and Boban Marjanovic as the only over-30 players. On top of that, Barea was a franchise legend and beloved by everyone. He was a leader.
