We sat down with Marc Putman, owner and CEO of OUTtv and president of EUROVOD, the association of independent European VoD platforms. Putman is also the coordinator of UxP – an acronym that stands for Unified eXchange Platform – an innovative project aimed at linking European VoD platforms. The initiative involves six partners; four of these are VoD platforms and two are media technical solution companies from three different EU countries (the Netherlands, France and Poland). The Kids Kino Industry Talks return with a focus on streaming platforms 21/01/2021 - The monthly webinar explores how producers of children’s content can build their strategies for approaching and collaborating with leading and independent VoD platforms In 2021, Kids Kino Industry (KKI) is organising a series of monthly Industry Talks that are an extension of the weekly Inspirational Webinars which ran last year. As in previous editions, the aim is to create a meeting place for European professionals where they can exchange their ideas and experiences, and further develop new content for children. For the first KKI Talk of the year, which runs on 25 January from 3 pm-4 pm CET, the topic is “Unravel Streamers – What Producers Need to Know”, and it will be available on Zoom for registered users only (click here to register). As always, signing up is free, and even if some people might be unable to attend the live broadcast, registration also guarantees that they will receive the recording of the talk via e-mail afterwards.
