The Coronation Street star, 64, who is best known for playing fiery patriarch Jim McDonald in the soap, has been engaged to his partner, 59, for over a decade.
The actress, who has appeared in Coronation Street, Holby and is currently in Waterloo Road, was joined by her husband Jason Milligan and her children Tallulah and Melissa.
