EVANSVILLE, Ind.  The University of Evansville unveiled a draft plan Thursday to cut approximately a quarter of its faculty, shut down three departments and stop offering 17 majors. The administration said the cuts are necessary in response to changes in the higher education industry. UE President Christopher Pietruszkiewicz spoke with the Courier & Press in his first interview after the announcement.
