Jacksonville police searching for a missing infant girl and her mother

A statewide police search ended successfully when a 4-month-old Jacksonville girl and her mother were found safe Saturday evening The Sheriff s Office announced about 6 p.m. that Yisrael Joy Toler and her mother Evelyne Idella Franzua  had been located.  However, police didn t say where mother and daughter were found, how they were located or the circumstances of their apparent disappearance, which led the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to issue a statewide Missing Child Alert for Yisrael before dawn Saturday. FDLE had issued its alert about 3 a.m. roughly 90 minutes after the Sheriff s Office put out a news release announcing officers were searching for Yisrael and her mother to determine if they are safe.

According to the JSO, officers responded to a welfare check for 4-month-old Yisreal Toler in the 2500 block of Eisner Drive called after someone was concerned of the child s safety.
