Islamic group, Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), has urged the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 election, Peter Obi and the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, to confirm or deny the authenticity of a leaked audio tape now popularly called 'Yes Daddy'. MURIC said it wants to give the duo a fair hearing before interrogating the content of the audio.

Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election has claimed the leaked phone conversation between him and Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, is fake. The audio in which Obi described the 2023 presidential election as a ‘religious war’, had been trending since it was published by an online newspaper, Peoples Gazette on Saturday.

As controversy continues to surround the leaked audio telephone conversation between the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi in the 2023 election and Bishop David Oyedepo, Obi's Media Assistant, Valentine Obienyem has revealed that the audio was released by someone known to them.   Oyedepo is the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and the presiding bishop of the Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.
