Sisodia’s judicial custody until April 17 in connection with the now-scrapped excise policy case being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The AAP leader was directed to appear in court on April 17 by CBI Judge M.K. Nagpal of the Rouse Avenue Courts.

The AAP leader will now file his bail plea in Delhi Court.

Manish Sisodia was on Monday produced before the court virtually, since he is currently under the custody of the Enforcement Directorate till March 22.

On Monday, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC was grilled for almost ten hours during which she was confronted with Hyderabad-based businessman Arun Pillai and few documentary evidence.

During her first appearance, she was reportedly confronted with Hyderabad-based businessman Arun Pillai, who had represented the South Group.

Delhi's Rouse Avenue court on Monday extended Manish Sisodia's judicial custody by 14 days, till April 3, in the alleged excise policy ‘scam,’ news agency ANI has reported. This means that the jailed AAP leader, who is in Enforcement Directorate (ED)'s custody till March 22, will again be sent to judicial custody if there is no further extension to his ED remand.

The ED arrested Sisodia on March 9. Before the ED arrest, the CBI had arrested him over alleged corruption in framing Delhi’s liquor policy.

The central agency is also forensically analysing extensive data from Manish Sisodias email and mobile device, among others.

Rejecting her plea for urgent hearing, the Supreme court said she will be heard as per schedule on March 24.
