Delhi Court on Monday sent Hydrabad-based businessman Arun Ramchandra Pillai to judicial custody till April 3 in connection with its ongoing probe in Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22 money laundering case.

Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Raos daughter K Kavitha on Tuesday again in connection with the probe into the Delhi liquor policy case, said sources.

Delhi's Rouse Avenue court on Monday extended Manish Sisodia's judicial custody by 14 days, till April 3, in the alleged excise policy ‘scam,’ news agency ANI has reported. This means that the jailed AAP leader, who is in Enforcement Directorate (ED)'s custody till March 22, will again be sent to judicial custody if there is no further extension to his ED remand.

There are possibilities that Sharma might be confronted with Sisodia. He was summoned on Friday by the ED.

Sisodia was arrested by Enforcement Directorate (ED) during his judicial custody in Tihar Jail, where he was lodged. Sisodia was arrested by the CBI in the liquor policy case on February 26 and sent to 14-day judicial custody on March 6. 

Enforcement Directorate stated that the act of pro-active destruction of evidence leads to only one inference.

A notice was issued by the Public Works Department Secretariat allotted Bungalow No AB-17, Mathura Road to Atishi Marlena, who is recently inducted into the Kejriwal cabinet replacing Sisodia. 

The Enforcement Directorate on Friday claimed before a Delhi court that AAP leader and former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia was involved in "large scale destruction of digital evidence".

Manish Sisodia is facing a probe by the CBI and the ED in connection with the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy.
