Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia arrived at the CBI headquarters for questioning in the excise policy case, said officials on Monday.

Sisodia had reached the CBI headquarters at 11.13 am, after the entry, the questioning started at 11:30 am. He was given a lunch break of half an hour in between.

Bhartiya Janta Party national spokesperson Sambit Patra on Monday lashed out at Manish Sisodia in a furious reply to Deputy CMs allegations on linking the CBI interrogation to operation lotus.

While extending support to his deputy, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal said Sisodia was going to be arrested in a bid to stop him from campaigning in Gujarat.

"CBI spent 14 hours searching my home. My bank locker was examined, but nothing was discovered... They have now invited me to the CBI headquarters tomorrow at 11 a.m., Sisodia tweeted on Sunday.
