Year-end giving and taxes often go hand in hand this time of year.
âFor any nonprofit organization, the last three months of the year are very important for fundraising. Not only are people in the giving spirit around the holidays, but they also want to make sure they donate before the year is up for tax purposes,â said Jaime Thomas, director of communications and marketing for Feeding America, Kentuckyâs Heartland.
Thomas said this is the first year FAKH incorporated digital marketing into its efforts to raise awareness and solicit end-of-year donations from people who support Feeding America, Kentuckyâs Heartland, and have raised more money than ever before.
