LEBANON JUNCTION – Thanks to an effort to provide emergency services in all parts of the county and thanks to funds through the American Recovery Plan Act, residents of Lebanon Junction may soon have a new home for ambulance service. Bullitt County Judge/Executive Jerry Summers and Fourth District magistrate Joe Rayhill brought a plan to the Lebanon Junction City Council outlining a desire to build a two-bay EMS facility in the town. The cost, estimated at $750,000, would be paid through the federal recovery funds.
