The following executive order continues the temporary suspension and modification of laws related to the disaster emergency in the counties of the Bronx, Kings, New York, Richmond and Queens due to the conditions at Rikers Island Correctional Center.

The U.S. sanctions provide for a mechanism to punish even an attempt to bypass them.
