The Indian Navys INS Sumedha has arrived in Egypt to participate in Exercise BRIGHT STAR-23, the largest joint military exercise ever held in the Middle East and North Africa region. The exercise involves 34 countries and is planned in two phases. The Harbour Phase includes activities such as cross-deck visits and professional exchanges, while the Sea Phase will feature high-intensity exercises and live weapon firing drills.
