guessing. i m shannon bream. hour number two of america s news headquarters live from the nation s capital starts right now. first, though, will the drawdown in it afghanistan move more quickly than expected? outgoing defense secretary robert gates shared his thoughts in an exit interview with chris wallace on funds. steve centanni has more on that. hi rvetion steve. the president is deciding the size and pace of a troop drawdown in afghanistan. the president talked about a significant drawdown and gates said it would be a modest one. it is widely believed we are talking about a few thousand troops to begin with but that hasn t been determined. on fox news sunday gates refused to give any numbers ahead of the president s announcement but said recent gains have set the stage for the beginning of a troop drawdown as scheduled in july. we have had a lot of success over the last 15 months in
