yeah. but the other question, after all of this, why do you think the suspect called police himself to let them know where he they could find him? yeah, i had suspected this and i talked about his exit strategy. one way to look at all the weaponry he had, everything from that machete to the explosives to the fireworks is that he didn t have an intention of leaving, that this might have been something that he anticipated that he would die. and therefore, the last 24 hours have been him sort of just waiting to be caught in some way. because this wasn t a well planned out attack in the sense like he didn t it wasn t clear what his strategy was in terms of an exit. he is just a few miles from the subway. he hasn t gone anywhere. so that s one explanation that the police will look into. the other is that he knew he couldn t get away and therefore he calls it in.
he was going to utilize, selected the station, and, you know, actually put the time and effort into utilizing a disguise to basically mask the attack that he was about to launch and then at the end of the attack, there was a level of, you know, exit strategy in how he was going to escape. so this wasn t a suicide mission that he was on. this was launching an attack to lead. now, this is all very basic planning, but it does show a level of increased attention and planning purposes to launch this attack. and andy, what should people make of the fact that frank james called in his own tip on himself? kate, i don t know there s much you can make of it except to conclude that every one of these situations is very different, particularly when you are dealing with people who are clearly, you know, not operating at the highest level of logic in
wrapped up by then. and if that s the case, what do you think that says and what does vladimir putin then do about that ? and i m talking about a possible exit strategy if it even comes to that . what are your thoughts? i don t think that they have an exit strategy or a strategy. i m not sure that how much putin knows about what s going on or if he s being told the exact the truth of the disrepair of the russian army. i think what you re going to have is a lot of generals slow walking this giving the appearance to moscow and the general staff that they re carrying out these orders. you re going to see this mob kind of move half willingly to the east and to no real military effect. there will be continued loss of life, i m sorry to say, but the loss of life will largely be the result of standoff systems, artillery and surface to surface missiles and this will plod on and that s where it becomes real dangerous, kevin , because when it becomes clear to putin that this isn t over , that he
it incorporates something more. vladimir putin did not say they were going to war. he said they were going on a special operation. what does it look like for vladimir putin when you lied your way in? how do you think that plays into the wiggle room for any negotiations or any exit strategy for russia? i mean, i think, nicolle, if you wanted to exit now or soon, he could exit and keep his lie more or less in check. as time goes on and more russians die and don t return home or return home wounded or body bags, it will be harder for the russian people to continue to keep the lie up and keep the fiction up. i could be wrong, of course. i have not lived in russia. i don t know the russian psyche.

The next day, they issued a Press Release confirming the material was from a flying disk, a flying saucer. News agencies around the world announced the shocking find. Then within hours, the u. S. Military changed its assessment of what these pieces were. Announce that the debris from outside was nothing more than a Weather Balloon, not a big deal, nothing extraterrestrial. It was he telling the truth about that . Looks like he may have been, it may have been a Weather Balloon but that was not the end of the story. The u. S.
