shannon. shannon: thanks so much. in the wake of the chaos of the withdrawal from afghanistan, president biden keeps saying things that don t line up with what people on the ground are telling us. and it seems he is struggling to get on the same page with some of his own advisors. kevin corke has that part of the story for us tonight. with the pressure building on the white house to do something, anything, to change the trajectory of the situation on the ground there in afghanistan, today is dirt biden once again avoided taking question in that country. which of course made his comments from friday and the subsequent cleanup effort all the more troubling. as if the country did not have more questions and deserve more answers, joe biden again refused to field questions about the execution of his so exit strategy from afghanistan. perhaps from the billing fallout from his comments on our day.
