turned off, we have to be woeshed about our mortgages. look this can t go on forever. the fed has to have an exit strategy. you can t just keep pumping the economy with money forever. the economy has to take over on its own. look, when should we be worried? goldman sachs says the next time this comes will be bt december meeting. ubs says no, more likely january. there is a meeting in october. i can guarantee you there will be all kinds of guessing between now and then. most immediate way you re going to see this outside of your 401k is probably mortgage rates. i think what the fed has done or didn t do yesterday probably gives you another chance to refinance or to buy your first home or to get a mortgage at a decent rate, below 5%. it gives you a little breathing room there. because, you know, there were some calls yesterday that you were going to see 5%, 30-year fixed rate mortgages if the fed started to taper. the fed s not tapering just yet. while i really took a bath on
credit, not insurance. the fed that s what you re going ask me. you seemed to be able to deal with it. the markets love it but i read into it, these guys have access to all sorts of information and data that i ll never have. so i m thinking what are they worried about? well they blinked. we had a lot of volume activity, with the suggestion they were taper. the ten year treasury hit a low of 1.7 in may and went to 3%, now 2.75. that kind of volatility in the bond market is not helpful but it was an inkling of how disrupting the exit strategy could be. george had the right idea, start slow but do it. it s not einstein s definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and hope you get different results.
you call at it slogan? that you re paying upwardded of half a trim dollars? five-year low, adding on top of that five-day losing streak that has already winded out 1400-pounds on the dow, now nobody is comfortable being in stocks. they re more comfortable selling stocks. you of all should know, once they re there, a hard way to lose them. the important thing is there is an exit strategy. there is no exit strategy. there is an exit strategy. they did the bailout of these see our they ve worked? how our markets have gone back up? they re making it worse every day. we have witnessed a startling drop in the stock market. much of it driven biont by
psychologically on the edge anyway, when they play those games, chris, number one, you hone your shooting skills and number two, you desensitize yourself to the value of human life. and for those few people who act out like that, that becomes a terrible training tool. his chances of surviving this it seems to be given all the circumstances we now know coming into a place, storming into it picking up weapons as he went, using them as he went, he had no escape route, no plan, no exit strategy for himself. did that tell you much he didn t have a plan to get away? yeah. it tells us that it s consistent with so many of the stories we hear of violence in a work place scenario where an individual may plan on doing it. he may accumulate the weapons or the plans or the i.d. cards or whatever it is, but he has no exit plan. because his master plan is i m going to go in, i m going to express my anger, frustration, and rage. i m going to be this emotional
