Application submitted for US molten salt research reactor : New Nuclear

Abilene Christian University has applied to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a construction licence for a molten salt research reactor, to be built on its campus in Abilene, Texas, as part of the Nuclear Energy eXperimental Testing laboratory. ​ACU plans for the MSRR to achieve criticality by December 2025.
