One person was killed and 45 others were injured after multiple explosions at a religious gathering in Kerala today. At least three blasts took place just minutes after a prayer meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses began at a Kochi convention centre.

As many as three blasts, the first at around 9.30 am and two others within the next 10 minutes, were reported at the convention centre where the Christian denomination Jehovah’s Witnesses was holding a prayer meeting.

An explosive device blew up at a convention center in southern India killing at least one person and wounding 36 others Sunday, authorities said.
