Today, February 18, 2022, Jonathan's wife Diana Toebbe, 46, of Annapolis pleaded guilty to conspiracy to communicate Restricted Data related to the design of nuclear-powered warships.

Jonathan and Diana Toebbe, both of Annapolis, Maryland, were arrested in Jefferson County, West Virginia, by the FBI and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) on Saturday, Oct. 9. They will have their initial appearances on Tuesday, Oct. 12, in federal court in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Defendant Allegedly Conspired to Illegally Export U.S. Goods and Technology without Required Licenses.

On January 14, the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested a dual-Iranian citizen for allegedly trying to send goods and technology to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI). Kambiz Attar Kashani, age 44, allegedly “orchestrated an elaborate scheme to evade U.S. export laws and use the U.S. financial system in procuring U.S. electronic equipment and technology for the CBI,” U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said.
