The New Zealand Millennium Cup organisers have elected to postpone the regatta to March 2021.
The leading superyacht event had been due to begin on Monday 15th February, however due to an elevated Covid alert across New Zealand the Millennium Cup will now take place in the Bay of Islands from 28-31 March.
The regatta is run by the NZ Marine Export Group and promotes New Zealand’s cruising grounds and marine industry to international and domestic superyachts. The event will follow on from the Superyacht Gathering in Auckland, which is due to be held from 24-26 March and will feature appearances from industry powerhouses Jonathan Beckett and Andrew Winch.
