Department of Commerce Honors U S Companies with Presidential Award for Export Achievements

Today, the Department of Commerce honored 31 U.S. companies and organizations that export goods and services overseas by naming them winners of the 2021 President’s “E” Awards. This year’s winners hail from 20 states, and of the 31 honorees, 25 are small and medium-sized businesses, and 14 firms are manufacturers.

US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross presented the Guam Visitors Bureau with the President’s “E” Award for Export Service at a ceremony in Washington, DC, May 22. The President’s “E” Award is the highest recognition any US entity can receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of US exports. “The Guam Visitors Bureau has demonstrated a sustained commitment to export expansion. The “E” Awards Committee was very impressed with GVB’s Tourism 2020 strategic plan development and engagement, which resulted in exceptional year-over-year growth in tourism to Guam.
