ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Oct. 19, 2022) – Recent Express Scripts decisions to eliminate the option for Tricare beneficiaries to obtain their prescriptions at their pharmacy of choice should be rectified to ensure their continued access to needed medications, the National Community Pharmacists Association emphasized Tuesday to U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

Montana has roughly 37,683 people covered under Tricare, which will cut its number of in-network pharmacies by nearly 15,000 nationwide.
