manassas passing route 50 moving in toward the beltway. traffic moves fairly well there at the interchange there near route 50. if you re getting on the beltway on the inner loop, just past i-66, we have an accident clearing off to the side of the roadway. that could give you a bit of extra slowing at that point. the volume is light enough so any delay there shouldn t be all too bad. also, 95 northbound virginia looks like we re still checking out pretty quiet conditions. light to occasionally moderate from fredericksburg moving up to the beltway then continuing onward northbound 395 looks like it is fairly quiet around duke street. in fact, hardly any traffic at all. that clear pace continues all the way to the 14th street bridge and up to the southeast southwest freeway. we remind you again, another report coming your way in just a short time at 6:12. mike and jessica? thank you, richard. weather still the big story across the region and the entire northeast this morning.
during the course of the day with winds gusting to about 25 miles per hour. there you go, lots of sunshine. still breezy at time. 39degrees. each day, we ll add a couple of degrees. like that pattern. let s check in with lauren demarco with a look at traffic. good morning. things looking very good right now. our overnight construction has wrapped up. 95 and the bw parkway both running fine between beltways. the beltway itself, here we are looking at the american legion bridge. earlier, we had a disabled vehicle to the right and that has cleared out. 95, 395 running incident-free. here is a look at 270 at 124, no problems reported there. 66 also at speed between the beltway in both directions. that s a check of your fox 5 on-time traffic. our developing story, airport and road crews along the east coast are still digging out from a blizzard that dumped several inches of snow. thousands of stranded travelers hope today is the day they will make it home. casey steigel has
