The sunshine and mild temperatures to start this week were a welcomed change from the previous months’ colds and grays and, thanks to some fortuitous scheduling, I was able to spend one of those mornings soaking up some natural vitamin D while on a site visit discussing ideal locations to install a nesting box for barn owls.
Any chance to get out of the office and spend some time in nature is a treat, but what made this particular trip so enjoyable was my tour guide, and budding ornithologist, Josie.
