Kubota introduces new compact track loader
The SVL97 includes an improved DEF system and in-cab technology.
GRAPEVINE, Texas
– Kubota Tractor Corporation unveiled the newest member of its compact track loader line with the SVL97-2. The new SVL97-2 offers increased productivity. The new SVL97-2 will replace the popular SVL95-2s and will be available at Kubota dealerships this month.
“Kubota’s new SVL97-2 sets the bar for our compact track loader line with standard equipped telematics, rearview camera, lockable DEF door and a newly redesigned DEF system,” said Patrick Baker, Kubota construction equipment product manager. “Our SVL line has been a core product offering within the construction equipment marketplace, and the enhancements available on this unit keep Kubota at the top of its game.”
NCNLA announces honorees for annual awards
Eight industry professionals in North Carolina were honored.
RALEIGH, N.C. – The North Carolina Nursery & Landscape Association recognized eight industry professionals for their contributions to the North Carolina green industry in 2020.
Matt Bland of Bland Landscaping, Apex, was presented the Jerry Ragland Award. Established in 1999, the award recognizes an outstanding young person in the landscape business.
Shelley Cook of Carolina Garden Company, Durham, was given the Oakland Award. Established in 1978 by Oakland Plantation, the award is given to individuals for outstanding service to the nursery and/or landscape industry.
Mike Munster of North Carolina State University, Raleigh, was presented the Kim Powell Award. Established in 2004, this award recognizes an individual’s outstanding contribution to the association and industry, and more specifically, their involvement in program development and execution.
