Not all hope is lost for Britain s high street brands
14 March 2021 • 6:00am
When the shops finally reopen, the great British high street is going to look like a bit of a gap-toothed smile. Brands we all knew and once loved – including Topshop, Oasis, Warehouse and Debenhams – will be closing their physical stores up and down the country for good, leaving holey parades from Brighton to Inverness as they go online-only with their new owners.

Nothing makes me more excited than the promise of Spring - especially after the winter we’ve had. It’s the time of year where I dust off the brighter colours in my wardrobe and dare to bare even a glimpse of skin. I admit that I ve spent most of lockdown wearing the comfiest clothes I own so it does feel a bit special to get my dresses out again.
I’ll wear them with my trusty flat scruffy brown boots with warm tights and maybe a thermal polo neck underneath.
