The Bill is reportedly set for a comeback, with three of the hit show s biggest stars interested in making a return, more than a decade after the series ended.
It is understood that Graham Cole, Trudie Goodwin and Mark Wingett have been approached by writer Simon Sansome who has allegedly acquired the rights.
A source has also claimed that the idea for a reboot, thought to be named Sun Hill after the station where the series was based, really kicked off after the original cast reconnected in 2020.

The film stars Frances McDormand as a woman living in her van as she embarks on a journey across the American West. Zhao, who was born in China, became only the second woman to win the best director prize, and the first woman of colour. The first female winner was Kathryn Bigelow, who took the gong in 2010 for The Hurt Locker. The Bafta ceremony, which was delayed by two months, was largely virtual this year, with only the hosts and presenters appearing in person at the Royal Albert Hall.

William was due to deliver a speech via video, celebrating the resilience of the film industry over the past year, however he withdrew following the death of his grandfather.
Accepting her award, Youn said: “I am very honoured to be nominated and I’m the winner now.
“My deep condolences for your Duke of Edinburgh and thank you so much for this award.
“Every award is meaningful but especially this one. British people are known as very snobbish people and they approve of me as a good actor, so I’m very privileged and happy.”
