Gov. Kathy Hochul on Monday joined elected and community leaders to officially open the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Welcome Center at Niagara Falls State Park.

The state is offering grants of up to $100,000 for small businesses in Niagara Falls to make improvements, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced.

Gov. Kathy Hochuls administration has authorized $5 million in state grant funds to support small business development in the Niagara Falls.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced applications are available for the Niagara Falls Small Business Property Improvement Program. The $5 million initiative will provide grants of up to 50% of total project costs, up to $100,000 per property, to eligible small businesses to foster revitalization of traditional mixed-use business districts.

Jennie Schaff comes to the foundation from Jewish Family Services. Prior to that, she was an education professor at Nazareth College.
