Supreme Federal Court (STF) Justice Alexander De Moraes lifted the seal of secrecy from the probe into former President Jair Bolsonaros alleged use of a fake vaccination card to enter the United States, Agencia Brasil reported. In the case, Colonel Mauro Barbosa Cid, a former aide of Bolsonaros, has been placed under arrest.

According to the Federal Police, the ex-President’s aide-de-camp Cid arranged for the issuance of fake proof of vaccination against COVID-19—first for his wife and two daughters, then for Bolsonaro and his underage daughter.
