EPA federal PFAS drinking water standards to White House Office of Management and Budget OMB for consideration and approval. The proposed rule cleared OMB review on November 30, 2022 EPA not yet released proposed rule. Details of the rule under consideration not yet known.

A Michigan state court struck down Michigan’s PFAS regulations related to drinking water enforceable limits. The state’s environmental agency appealed the ruling. The court found in favor of 3M because it felt the state did not adequately consider the cost implications.
