The fundraising by Afcons Infrastructure comes shortly after another group company, Goswami Infratech, raised nearly Rs 14,500 crore by issuing bonds.

Sterling and Wilson Solar was the last company from the Shapoorji Pallonji Group to make a debut on the domestic bourses back in August 2019.

A strategic sale of Afcons, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, is also one of the options on the table for which Middle East-based companies have been tapped, said the sources cited above.
