香港侨界青年重温历史 向抗日烈士敬献花篮-中国侨网

　　此次活动是香港侨界社团联会“贺建党百年 庆香港回归”系列活动之一。香港侨界社团联会会长黄楚基出席当日活动并致辞表示，侨界青年怀着崇敬的心情来到乌蛟腾烈士纪念园，向抗日英烈纪念碑敬献花篮，是表达对英雄先烈的敬仰，并寄托哀思；追寻足迹，传承薪火，是希望侨界青年可以立志为新时代作出贡献。 　　黄楚基指出，乌蛟腾抗日英烈纪念碑是香港唯一一处国家级抗战纪念设施，乌蛟腾村曾是东江纵队港九独立大队的活动基地之一。回想当年，游击队员在极端困难的环境下，义无反顾地投身抗日，保卫国土与家园，为民族独立与国家尊严献出宝贵生命。先烈们崇高的精神值得学习与铭记，侨界青年也应该通过重温历史，感受抗日英烈的家国情怀，凝聚爱国共识，为实现中华民族的伟大复兴贡献力量。 　　香港侨界社团联会
