Berry Good Announces Official Disbandment
On May 12, 2021, at 6 pm, KST, Berry Good s company, JTG Entertainment, announced on the group s official social media accounts that Berry Good has decided to officially disband after seven years of activity.
JTG Entertainment said that the label has merged and was acquired by Star Wave Entertainment. In addition, JTG Entertainment had a discussion with their girl group, Berry Good, and its members, Johyun and Sehyung, regarding their best course of action and the future of the group.
After long hours of careful discussion, Johyun decided to join Star Wave Entertainment and work under them, while Sehyun will end her exclusive contract and depart from the company.

Female artists from all around the world participating in Spotify s EQUAL campaign
The EQUAL playlists will be launched in each country, and will feature 50 of the country s domestic female artists from various genres through monthly updates. Spotify will also be launching EQUAL Global, which features 70 female artists from all around the world. EQUAL features female artists such as Saweetie, Griff, G.E.M, Nadine Lustre and more.

In South Korea, Red Velvet s Wendy, who recently made her debut as a solo artist, joined the campaign as the first Korean female artist to represent the country in the campaign.
According to an official from the Paju City Hall on April 23, it was concluded that the As If It s Your Last singer s visit to the arboretum did not violate the quarantine rules.
It was previously revealed that YG Entertainment had submitted an application to the arboretum prior to filming and that the visit was work-related and not private.
As the suspicion around Jennie s quarantine violation has been concluded and cleared by the Paju City Hall, she is planning to resume her activities after it was put on pause amidst the controversy.
Although the controversy has been concluded, there is still a lot of debate on whether filming videos, such as for Youtube, falls under the exception of Korea s ban on public gatherings of more than five people.
HYBE will be opening their very own museum that will be open to the public in May.
According to media outlets on April 26, HYBE will be opening their very own museum, HYBE INSIGHT, at HYBE s new building in Yongsan, Seoul and will be open for visitors starting May 14.
