According to a list provided by Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas special assistant to the president Ryan Gregorio, Gilas Pilipinas welcomed 12 new players to its pool, as a total of 19 players entered the Inspire Sports Academy in Laguna on Monday, March 15, to start their training camp. Out of the 12 new players, 10 are amateurs, including Ateneo standouts LeBron Lopez, SJ Belangel, Gian Mamuyac, Troy Mallillin, Geo Chiu, Jason Credo, Josh Lazaro, and Kyle Ong.
