Fidelity Bank posts N28.1BN profit in 2020, announces dividend
Fidelity Bank says in its 2020 financial report that it will pay 22 kobo dividend per share.

Fidelity Bank Plc on Wednesday said it made N28.1billion profit in 2020 in what it described as testimony of its resilience and stability.
In the results announced on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), the Nigerian lender reported strong growth in Core Operating Profits, Net Revenue and other key financial indices.
The bank reported a 50.9% growth in Core Operating Profits from N29.8BN in 2019 FY to N44.9BN while Net Revenue increased by 15.0% from N111.8Bn in 2019FY.
Lagos, Jan. 29, 2021 Fidelity Bank Plc on Friday launched its ‘Pay Yourself’ product for customers whose salaries are domiciled in the bank for convenience to enable them to be in control of their finances.
Mr Christopher Onyeneke, the bank’s Chief Technology Officer, said at the virtual launch of the product on Friday in Lagos that ‘Pay Yourself’ would enable customers to have control of their salaries from day one.
Onyeneke said that Fidelity Bank had used the product for its staff members for about 11 months and decided to extend it to customers due to positive feedback.
“With Pay Yourself, you are able to decide when you receive your salary via USSD between the ‘official’ payday and the last day of the month.

Not many can beat her professional pedigree. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe has served as an Executive Director at two different banks- first at the erstwhile Enterprise Bank (now Heritage Bank) and later, Fidelity Bank Plc.
She is well regarded as a turnaround specialist- with her well acknowledged effort as part of the team that took over the former Enterprise Bank and repositioned the Bank before its acquisition by Heritage Bank.
