推動一區一水岸設施沈慧虹：找回新竹的「親河力」 - 政治

民進黨新竹市長參選人沈慧虹今舉辦「水與綠的城市友善親河力」政策記者會，宣布未來將推動「一區一水岸設施」，會在東區溪埔子排水支線、香山區油車溝進行水域景觀改造及水質改善，也將啟動北區湧北湖圳的可行性評估調查，藉由改造水岸打造宜居城市，重新找回新竹市的「親河力」。沈慧虹強調，水岸打造工程需要與中央單位高度協調、合作，她有豐富的跨部會協調經驗及行政歷練，由她來帶頭，絕對是新竹市民最能信賴的選擇。沈慧虹表示，新竹市是被「水」包圍的城市，無論是自然的溪流，或是先民辛苦開墾出來的水圳，在母親河頭前溪的照顧下，這座城市的繁榮與發展，始終與「水」離不開關係，但過去缺乏對水的治理，常常透過加上水泥蓋視而不見的方式，讓市民失去人與水自然互動的可能性，也失去了老新竹珍貴的生活記憶
