As we reported in November, Britain's Imperial War Museum was soon due to unveil a special exhibit at their Duxford location dedicated to the superlative Supermarine Spitfire. Over the weekend of September 18th/19th the Imperial War Museum at staged a Battle of Britain air show at their facility in Duxford, Cambridge, the last major show of the year at the former RAF Duxford. Flying Legends cancels July airshow 1st June 2021 10:19 Europe/London Flying Legends, one of the UK’s top airshows, has cancelled this year’s event due to be held at Sywell on 10-11 July. Airshow Director Nick Grey issued this statement: “In the light of yesterday’s message (27.05.2021) from our Prime Minister, and the uncertainty surrounding the UK opening fully for business, it is with deep regret and a heavy heart that we must cancel this year’s event.
