The committee says they were fortunate to stage this year’s event in January before the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown global sports in March. Chairman of the Coral Coast Sevens tournament Jay Whyte says it is for this reason after lengthy deliberation and discussion, it was agreed that the best way forward was to move the tournament to late 2021.
